Evening with a Musician: Josh Koestenbaum

May 17, 2023 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm CDT

$10.00 – $25.00
  • « Spring Lectures by Daniel Freeman: Maurice Ravel
  • Musician and Staff Appreciation Luncheon »

Enjoy the magic of music on a May evening in a gorgeous, historic home on St. Paul’s Summit Avenue! Here’s your chance to spend a few pleasant hours up close and personal with SPCO cellist Josh Koestenbaum, who is as warmhearted as he is admired for his musical accomplishments. What’s more, he’s a longtime fan and member of the Friends!

Our gracious host will welcome you to a lovely Tudor-inspired home built in 1909, a masterpiece by Clarence Johnston, who designed many of St. Paul’s most beautiful mansions. And after the program, you’ll be invited to tour the home and learn more about its history and architecture.

6:30 pm: Social hour begins; come in time to meet friends and enjoy conversation, wine and non-alcoholic beverages.

7 pm: Program by cellist Josh Koestenbaum, offering personal reflections on his life in music and a few select performances of works he loves, with time allowed for your own questions and observations.

8 pm: Enjoy more conversation with delectable dessert bites and coffee added to the menu.

Location: 345 Summit Avenue, St. Paul
Cost: $10 for Friends members, $25 for non-members.
DON’T WAIT: Remember, only the first 40 lucky people to reserve will be able to attend – and we hope you’ll be among them!
Purchase tickets by May 13: Members $10
                                              Non-members $25
