DESCRIPTION:The SPCO concert of May 18 will be sponsored by the Friends.  Des Moines Symphony Academy Quartet\, the Grand Prize winners of the 2019 SPCO Youth Chamber Music Competition\, will be performing Ravel and at Beethoven at 7:00 p.m onstage in the Ordway Concert Hall before the SPCO concert begins. Host Chuck Ullery will also be interviewing the quartet.  Don’t miss this opportunity to hear these talented young musicians! The SPCO performance will be followed by a wine and cheese reception to celebrate this year’s competition.
